2022-2023 FAFSA Information - October 1, 2021 is the first day to complete.
 
Reminder:  A FAFSA must be on file to graduate from high school, to receive a scholarship, grant, or loan at any college or university.

National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club, Confluence Rivers Illinois Chapter - Deadline March 18th
 
Will be awarding scholarships in the amount of $1,000 and $500 respectively, to two qualified 2022 graduating high school seniors.

The CCPP is an educational learning program offered to juniors and seniors, to assist high school students in learning the necessary skills they will need to begin a career as a Construction Craft Laborer. The CCPP will have classroom instruction as well as hands-on training and it will be conducted at the ILCJATP Training Facility.

The Rotary International District 6510 Scholarship will fund two scholarships to an accredited College or Trade School to two high school seniors residing in Rotary District 6510. Awards will be $2,500.00 each. Winners will be presented at the High School Senior event where Scholarships are awarded (if possible). Recipients will agree to have their awards publicized throughout Rotary International District 6510.

Butkus- Sylvester Family Scholarship - One year's tuition and fees paid in full!
Requirements:
    • Minority, female student
    • Has been accepted or enrolled in The Grainger College of Engineering - University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
    • Illinois resident
    • U.S. citizen
    • Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrable financial need
    • Preference may be given to a first-generation U.S. citizen
 
 
 
The Gregory F Yank “Servant Leader” Scholarship will fund scholarships to an accredited College or Trade School.  Awards will be $2,500.00 each. It will be open to High School Seniors, current Undergraduate college students, Graduate school students, or Trade School students.  Recipients will agree to have their awards publicized throughout Rotary International District 6510.

The IL Student Assistance Commission has launched the Displaced Energy Worker Dependent Transition Scholarship Program (Website info page). This scholarship was created by the 2021 Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA) and provides scholarship assistance to dependents of eligible displaced energy workers (workers laid off from a retiring power plant or a closing coal mine after Sept 15th 2016). The scholarship pays tuition and fee costs at public colleges or community colleges for one calendar year, for undergraduate or graduate study. 

 

The 2022-23 application, for awards to cover the entire 2022-23 academic year, must be submitted on or before June 15, 2023.
