The Cairo Jr. High School Beta Club inducted nine members on May 15, 2025 in the Cairo Jr./Sr. High School Library.  The following members were inducted:  Pictured (left to right):  D’Ava Johnson, Keyon McAllister, Emma Woodworth, Kaalayah Williams, My’Leigha Oliver, Kitley Colman, Ny’Yesha Ellis-Bagby, and Darian Engram.

Candidates were selected on the basis of academic achievement and the ceremony highlighted the elements of the National Beta Club including character, leadership, service, and achievement.  Beta Club officers lit candles for each of those elements. The following officers and new members and current members participated in the induction ceremony:  The following officers are standing in front of the new inductees:  Er’Rihanna Harris (president), Aleeyah McGowan (vice-president), Jamariel Lattimore (secretary), Cherish Green (reporter), and Jasmyne Cornelius (chaplain).
