The Cairo High School Scholar Bowl Team recently participated in WSIU’s Scholastic Hi-Q on the campus of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.  Four members were selected to participate in the taping of Scholastic Hi-Q match of Cairo High School versus Metro East Lutheran High School in Effingham, Illinois.  WSIU’s Scholastic Hi-Q is a series of high school scholar bowl teams that compete on television to showcase their academic talents and abilities.  The match of Cairo High School versus Mascoutah High School will air soon on WSIU (Channel 8).  See www.wsiu.org for the Scholastic Hi-Q Fall 2025-2026 Schedule.
