Cairo High School Chapter of the National Honor Society Inducts New Members
In addition, students must provide experience in leadership, community involvement, and school involvement through other extra-curricular organizations. The National Honor Society has four elements from which the students are evaluated: character, scholarship, leadership, and service. Each element is equally important as each student is selected into this high society. During the ceremony, the new members were pinned and a candle was lit to share the elements of National Honor Society with other students. The new members are encouraged to demonstrate these elements in and out of school.
