On Wednesday, April 9th, Cairo Elementary Students traveled to the state capitol to take part in Senator Dale Fowler’s student advisory board. The CES students participated heavily in the process while asking thought provoking questions and giving their opinions on why schools need hygiene rooms to better serve unprivileged youth.

The students were accompanied by their principal, Ms. Serina Nelson, Board Member Steven Tarver and Interim Superintendent, Dr. Ferrell.
