After careful deliberation and surveying the side roads of Cairo, it’s best to err on the side of caution and implement an e-learning day for Thursday, February 20, 2025. The safe travel of all our students and staff is our top priority.

Dear Cairo Parents and Guardians,

Due to inclement weather, Cairo Unit School District 1 will have an E-Learning day for Wednesday, February 19, 2025. All students are encouraged to log on by 9am. Please adhere to your class schedules. Most importantly please stay safe and warm.

Good Morning All,
Due to the threat of inclement weather, we will instrument an early dismissal. CES will dismiss at 11:15am and CJSHS will dismiss today at 11:30am. We encourage everyone to stay safe and warm upon dismissal. If we should be out for more days, we will instrument our e-learning days.
